Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my webpage
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University Bloomington, School of Education.
My research focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into K-12 and higher education through curriculum design and tool development. I aim to foster essential competencies such as AI literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving for both pre-service and in-service teachers, as well as students, through hands-on experiences with physical computing and robotics.
Additionally, I explore ways to design and implement Computer Science (CS) and Computational Thinking (CT) curricula using tangible approaches, including Augmented Reality (AR) and educational robotics, in K-12 settings.
These instructional approaches also contribute to advancing teacher education and professional development by supporting effective teaching practices with emerging technologies.
Before joining the program, I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary education at Seoul National University of Education, and a master of arts degree in Educational Technology at Seoul National University. I also worked as an in-service elementary school teacher in Seoul, South Korea.
